We're delighted to share some exciting updates from the Middleware world, from product features that we've released to new roles we’re opening and what we’re planning on building in the near future.
Product Features
Real User Monitoring (RUM)
With Real User Monitoring you can gain full visibility into user interaction and application front-end performance. Collect data on clicks, page loading, and user time spent and visualize it in our pre-built RUM dashboard.
Included with and unique to Middleware RUM are full session replays for each session, enabling your developers to see how users interact with the application.
Get started with RUM in as little as a few lines of code!
MySQL Database Integration
One of our core focuses is to enable visibility across the entire stack through a wide set of integrations, and MySQL is one of our newest. With Middleware's MySQL integration, you can monitor database operations, including schema and table operations, view enhanced query performance insights, and improve overall database health and performance.
Integrating with MySQL takes only a few steps and can be done in as little as 5 minutes.
.NET APM Integration
We’re expanding our APM library with a new .NET integration, which enables you to collect metrics, profiling data, logs, and traces from your application and correlate those to metrics and logs collected from the rest of your stack.
As is the norm with Middleware, integrating the .NET APM only takes a few minutes!
Redis Integration
Last but not least, we’ve also built an integration for Redis. Similar to our MySQL integration, our Redis integration boosts overall infrastructure visibility by enabling metric storage, visualization, and correlation with your entire stack.
Follow these docs to integrate Redis today!
Improvements
Multiple Routes in Alerting
In an effort to improve our Alert management, we now allow multiple routes to be used in a single alert, eliminating the need to duplicate alerts per route.
Improvements in Logs
We’ve expanded our log searching capabilities with Regex string matching, logical operators (AND/OR), and timestamp granular filtering. We’ve also implemented the filter values into the URL for easy sharing.
